Christophe Dubi

In his role as Olympic Games Executive Director, Christophe Dubi oversees the management and coordination of all aspects of the Olympic and Youth Olympic Games, from the start of the candidature phase to the dissolution of the organising committee. Working in collaboration with partners across the Olympic Movement, his mission is to ensure that the Games remain among the world?s premier sporting events and leave a lasting and meaningful legacy.
Before taking up his current position, he served as IOC Sports Director from 2007 to 2014. During this time, he was responsible for all elements on the field of play and managing relations with the International Sports Federations. He also held responsibility for four IOC commissions: Athletes?, Olympic Programme, Sport for All and Entourage.?
He followed his passions for the Games and sports management to join the IOC as a trainee in 1996 ? the 100th?anniversary of the modern Olympic Games. He previously worked in finance and real estate, and as a teacher of political economics.
